We’re lucky enough to be one of the restaurants in central London to occupy a dual role – here in Covent Garden we have a brilliant mix of tourists and local, regulars and first-timers, who come to see us for a huge variety of reasons. Whether they have come from near or far, work around the corner and pop in for drinks each week or have just got off the tube for the first time to find themselves in the throng of restaurants central London has to offer, one thing unifies all of our guests: our desire to see them happy. It makes us especially happy when guests take the time to leave us a review too and it’s one of those we’d like to share with you now.

We ate lunch here on Wednesday 28th June, luckily I spotted this restaurant on Quandoo booking site, otherwise I won’t have discovered this hidden gem, in a tranquil small square off Upper St Martins Lane. When each course arrived it looked tempting to the eye, and tasted even better.
We shared the Suda’s Platter, delicious, followed by Giant King Prawn Pad Thai and Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin, both were presented and tempted your taste buds, and tasted great. The beef was one of the best I’ve tasted, tender and flavoursome. Each course was served by friendly and helpful waiting staff, and a nice wait between each course. The portions are good, and we wanted to try the dessert menu, however we couldn’t manage, but next time we will be trying the “Sticky rice & Mango and the Banana Fritters with Ice cream “.
A special thank you also to the manageress who was so helpful, she firstly sorted out a drink offer in booking with the Quandoo website, visited our table during the meal, and at the end we congratulated her on a good meal, and we exchanged holiday memories with her on our last visit to Thailand. Thank you for a lovely experience, we shall be returning shortly, together with friends.
Smiles from ear when we read this! We work hard to keep our place as one of the friendliest restaurants in central London and to know that that work pays off is a great reward!
