Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, we’re no strangers to people wanting to find cool places to eat in London. There’s no end of ways to find a spot – word of mouth, apps, websites, social media – everyone’s got an opinion and in the brilliantly connected world of today, there’s no shortage of opinions on the cool places to eat in London.
One of those places is TripAdvisor and we like to keep a close eye on it – after all, when guest take the time to write about their experiences it’s the least we can do. Recently TripAdvisor user Sunny P came to say hello, here’s what they have to say about their time with us:
Booked online for a group of 9 celebrating a 40th birthday. I needed a cake to be delivered to the venue which was not a problem. Arrived for our booking, we were sent upstairs and given our table. I held back and spoke to the waitress about our cake, she advised it had arrived, I gave her a candle and she she she would take care of it.
Once seated all together, we were given menu’s. We ordered a couple of Thai Pimms jugs, a great refreshing drink. We then ordered our starters and asked if we could wait to order our mains, the waitress and waiters were all so polite and obliged. We had various starters, the chicken satay was nice, the spicy calamari was even better, the tom tom soup was also good as was the other things we ordered. Presentation on each dish was good. Once starters were done we ordered our mains. The chicken massaman is such a tasty dish as was the Thai green curry. Portions are just enough for the price. All the other dishes we ordered (over 15) were all delivered in timely fashion and all tasted just as good. Once we had finished, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert, I knew we had a cake but they kept the birthday girl guessing. The dessert menu were given and we all started to look through them, in the meanwhile, the cake was brought over with the candle, all the staff stood at the table and started to sing happy birthday as did some other tables too, it was a great experience for the birthday girl and probably embarrassing too. Staff brought out a knife and plates. Once we had finished they took the remaining cake, boxed it up and returned it. I cannot fault this place from the drinks, to the food to the service. We will certainly be coming back for sure. WELL DONE ALL AT SUDA THAI!!!!!!
